WMU's Seita Scholarship program has once again gained national attention—this time in the form of an award to WMU's Director of Financial Aid, Mark Delorey, for his role in developing the scholarship program.
What began as an idea has blossomed into an initiative that aims to spread the program throughout the state to other universities and colleges.
Delorey received the 2012 Distinguished Service and Leadership Award from the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth. He is the first higher educational professor to be awarded the honor.
