Pride Alumni Association Homecoming Weekend

The new WMU Pride Alumni Association, affiliated with the WMU Office of Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Transgender Student Services, invites alumni to celebrate the diversity of WMU during Homecoming weekend. On Friday, Oct. 11, join us for an evening dessert reception, participate in the pep rally and then gather at 411/Metro. Then on Saturday, Oct. 12, stop by the official homecoming tent and join the Pride Alumni Association at the football game.

The mission of the Pride Alumni Association of Western Michigan University is to constitute a forum in which to exchange ideas, support the university and strengthen the role of the LBGTQA (Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, Transgender, Queer, and Ally) community at Western Michigan University. As a forum, we commit to acting from a broader context of social justice that recognizes the dynamics of intersecting identities and actively resists the oppression of all people.
